I decided to replicate the natural form of antlers by using rebar which is used industrially to reinforce concrete and is a complete contrast to the antlers on a stag.

Tree of Life
My client commissioned me to create a gnarled oak tree in my style to be used as a dining table centrepiece. Once complete, my client came up with the name “Tree of Life”. A title which was quite poignant given we were in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bulletproof
Not many sculptures do what they say on the tin, unlike "bulletproof".

Louis
The aim of this piece was to create Louis the Dachshund so that his character shone through in nails and he was instantly recognisable. I worked from photos to achieve this as seen in my Journal.

In for the Kill
Very shortly after learning to weld I decided I wanted to push myself and create something larger. This piece is 4.5 feet wide and stands approximately 5 feet tall. The piece is created completely with nails and was entered in the Young Cumbrian artist of the year.

Fish for Tea
Fish For tea shows a kingfisher perched looking for something to eat. The aim of this piece was to recreate the beauty of a kingfisher by simplifying the lines and giving a splash of colour with the use of upcycled copper wire.

Gus
Highland cows are instantly recognisable, just as I wanted Gus to be when he was finished. However I wanted to put a creative mark on this by using a mixture of twisted and bent nails.

Horse
For this piece I really wanted to capture the movement of the horse rearing through its muscular striations and flowing lines, both capturing the elegance and the natural beauty that horses possess.

Banquet table
Living in a converted barn we have a huge living space upstairs. To utilise this space myself and my dad decided to create this table so that the whole family could be seated. Through the Covid-19 pandemic socially distancing has been much easier with this table being 3.6 metres long and over a metre wide.

Bespoke Bird Table
My client wanted a bird table making out of metal as something different to feature in their garden. The benefit of using a series of circles is that the birds can perch on the base of the table as well as the top.

Bespoke Trellis
My client wanted a Trellis that was stylistic but was also functional to trail plants up. Requiring just the correct amount of filling in.
