Metalwork crafted in and inspired by the Scottish Borders
I am passionate about giving something a new lease of life and making something new out of an item or a collection of items which would otherwise go to waste…
I learned to weld when I finished secondary school and started to experiment artistically making ornamental garden alliums and Bottle openers. From school I went on to study agricultural engineering at Newton Rigg college before getting a job as a welder fabricator. During this period I worked creatively in my own hours. I am now self-employed and make anything from industrial furniture to life size sculptures out of reclaimed items. I also undertake agricultural repairs and Welding and fabrication both on site and off site.
